• BIS Unit cost reduction obtained for BIS marking fees for Sprinklers from Rs. 1.50/unit to Rs. 0.95/unit in March 2017.
• After long persuasion of IAI during 2013-14 unit price of emitting pipe system was changed by BIS from Rs.3.90/100Mt to Rs.0.35/Kg thereby giving large financial relief to all MI Companies.
• Representations made to BIS for amalgamation of two standards i.e. IS 14151 Part I & Part II for Sprinkler pipes.

• Before announcement of GST rates, several representations made by IAI at various levels in Central & State Govt. as well as GST Council members directly and through CII / FICCI / ASSOCHAM for low & reasonable rate of GST.
• IAI coordinated with all State chapters and State Govt. to finalize the price acceptable to MI Companies and State Govt. after considering input tax credit.
• Final GST declaration was 18% and several subsequent follow-ups with GST Council and Central / State Govt. resulted in reduction of GST to 12%.

• GST: Successfully restored GST on Micro- Irrigation at 12% through various representations
• Andhra Pradesh: Release of payment to industry after 2 years in March 2022
• Telangana: Price revision issued in March 2022
• Gujarat: Price revision issued in Sep. and Dec. 2022
• Tamil Nadu: Price revision issued in 2022
• Karnataka: Representations made to DoH Karnataka. Major focus expected from IAI in Karnataka.
• Ministry of Agriculture: Several meetings held with Directors/JS/AS/Secretary
• PDMC Operational Guidelines: IAI Submitted Recommendations to MoA&FW regarding changes in PDMC Operational Guidelines
• Presentation Submitted to Jal Shakti Ministry regarding MI in Surface Irrigation for Water Use Efficiency

The revision of IAI By-Laws after due approval from the General Body resulting in implementation of
